Petri Dish Rack

Simplifies the organization, storage, and transport of petri dishes. Increases sample capacities of incubators and bench tops.

Four-channel design accommodates stacks of 100mm diameter petri dishes. Silicon edges on the channels allow random entry and retrieval of dishes and hold them securely in place, media side up. Center channel maximizes CO₂ flow through rack. Constructed of lightweight, chemical-resistant polycarbonate. Autoclavable. Two heights are available: 22.9cm (9") for storage of up to 48 dishes, and 35.6cm (14") for storage of up to 84 dishes.

Withstand repeated wet or dry sterilization. Edges are beaded to provide greater mechanical strength, to equally space bottom and cover side walls, and to reduce capillary action of condensed moisture on sides. For easy sorting, tops are marked in blue, bottoms in white enamel. Bottoms also feature a triangular, enamel reference point for serial dilutions.
