ULTRA VIOLET LAMP

  A main u.v lamp enclosed in a cylindrical metal lamphouse with an aperture in its side and a simple ventilation system in its upper end. The lamp is specially recommended for photo-electric experiments. The body of the lamphouse slides on to its base which has a rod for mounting in a standard boss, and carries an Edison screw lamp holder with ceramic insulation.

Approximately 1.5m of 3C mains flex is provided .The cylindrical u.v lamp fitted is rated at 200-240V 6W and does not require any external choke or resistance. The main light output of the lamp is at 253.7nm giving an intense short wave u.v emission.
