Dysfunction of the Autonomic Nervous System are becoming more and more important in the everybody work of clinic and practices.

The autonomic nervous system maintains the internal homoeostasis of the human organism by regarding cardiovascular, thermoregulatory, gastrointestinal, urogenital, exocrine-endocrine and pupillomotoric functions.

Individuality and Flexibility : Flexibility and configuring test series and selecting various tests is a special features of VAGUS 2100.

Test series for any application : VAGUS 2100 has been designed for routine examinations and for research. Depending on the particular clinical task and in order to obtain valid examination result, individual function tests can be summarized in test batteries.

ECG, respiration, capillary pulse and blood pressure measured continuously during
the tracing.

Tracing and representation of signals : The user interface of the VAGUS 2100 is clearly laid out so that it is easy to start with the examination immediately.

Thanks to the integrated automatic sequence feature, you must merely press the recording button and can start test-specific events interactively. You will be guided from one test to the other, can repeat or skip tests as you want.

In addition to the signals from the ECG, respiration, discontinuous blood pressure, sympathic skin response(4 channels) and capillary pulse, external signals, such as the continuous blood pressure or Droppler signals can be recorded synchronously.

Evaluation : When evaluating cardiovascular function test, the analysis of the heart rate variability (HRV) is placed in the foreground.
HRV features for time domain :
- RR mean, standard deviation.
- Coefficient of variation, RMSSD.
- E/I ratio
- 30/15 ratio
- Valsalva ratio
- RR histogram, RR scattergram, interval tachogram

Furthermore, the following evaluations can be made
using VAGUS 2100.

- Measurement of the sympathic skin response
- Determination of the QT dispersion
- Determination of the vasoconstriction
- Determination of the baroreflex sensitivity.
All raw data can be saved for future evaluation at any time.
